SCHOOL OPENS

As a lead up to implementation, NTN visits your school to address unresolved issues and ensure a strong start to the school year.

New school teams experience the New Tech model at a Network school and learn about NTN’s core principles and practices through a 2-day virtual workshop.

NEW SCHOOLS TRAINING
New Schools Training (NST) is a 4-day event that takes place during the summer before a school’s first year of New Tech model implementation. During NST, school teams will prepare for implementation in the fall. NST has two main focus areas: (1) project-based learning (PBL) design and instruction and (2) school and classroom culture practices that support PBL. To support the training, we will use key tools and resources from the NTN Help Center, including New Tech Network’s Project Planning Toolkit, sample projects, and Practice Cards, and support deeper understanding of Echo.
PRACTICES
CARDS
A compilation of key cultural, instructional, and assessment practices that support educators in ensuring all learners have access to opportunities. These equity-centered practices, curated in card sets, provide different strategies to design and implement learning that embodies authentic, complex thinking and problem solving and creates safe, inclusive, and emotionally supportive environments.
SLACK COMMUNITY
The New Tech Network (NTN) Slack Community is a space created to shorten the distance between members of New Tech Network making connecting and communicating with one another more accessible. Within the NTN Slack Community members can connect with one another, collaborate, share ideas and resources around teaching practices, build community and so much more!

NTN coaches provide support for classroom-specific topics or other challenges.
