WORKSHOPS TO JUMP-START NTN IMPLEMENTATION
NTN DEEPER LEARNING PRACTICES
A two-day workshop designed for teaching and fostering deeper learning at a school through the NTN Learning Outcome Rubrics, learner-centered teaching practices aligned to the outcomes, and faculty collaboration. Students use learning outcome rubrics to set goals, while teachers facilitate interactive lessons that allow for observation of student performance through the lenses of the learning outcomes. Students also reflect upon their own performance at the end of each lesson. Outside of the classroom, teachers use collaboration protocols to share and refine their lesson plans.
NTN LEADERSHIP PRACTICES
A virtual workshop series, comprised of four 2-hour virtual sessions. The workshop series is designed to support school leadership teams in understanding key leader practices critical in supporting teachers implementing New Tech Network Deeper Learning Practices.
NTN CULTURAL PRACTICES
A virtual workshop series, comprised of two 3-hour virtual sessions. The workshop series is designed to support educators in building awareness of student experience through empathy mapping, reflecting on current classroom and school culture, designing PDSA cycle of inquiry for a research-based culture-building activity, and participating in feedback of activity design.
