Richard J. Lee Elementary and New Tech High @ Coppell have been selected as Apple Distinguished Schools for 2017–2019. Both Lee and New Tech were recognized for their continuous innovation in learning, teaching and the school environment.
According to the company, Apple Distinguished Schools are considered some of the most innovative schools in the world, as only 400 schools in 29 countries receive this distinction. Lee and New Tech @ Coppell join Coppell High School as the district’s three Apple Distinguished Schools. Coppell was named an Apple Distinguished School for 2015-2017.
