Vincent Sheffield earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and a Master of Education Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Vince began his career with the El Paso Independent School District in August 1993 as a fifth-grade teacher at Alamo Elementary School.  He taught until August of 1998, at which time he accepted the position of Assistant Principal at Newman Elementary School.  In September 2001 Mr. Sheffield was named Principal of Hillside Elementary School.  He was promoted and assigned to Human Resources where he held the following positions:  Director of Elementary Personnel from August 2004 to August 2005; Executive Director of Employee Relations from August 2005 to January 2011; Executive Director of Personnel Administration from January 2011 to July 2014; and Assistant Superintendent from July 2014 to May 2016.  In May 2016, Mr. Sheffield was named Deputy Superintendent of Administration in Human Resources.  He currently serves in this capacity.

Vince is married to Michelle and they have a son in 5th grade.
