Bennett: Accountability is key to success

Accountability works.

That’s according to Indiana’s top educator, Tony Bennett, who said by setting high expectations and holding schools accountable, the state is seeing tremendous results, not just in underperforming schools but also in many schools across the state.

“That said, I hope these schools will continue to drive significant academic gains without the immediate threat of state intervention,” Bennett said Friday. “They still have a long way to go to ensure all their students have the skills they need to be successful.”
